Donald D. Chrisholm was born in Lena, IL on Feb. 8, 1918. His recent place of residence was in Chicago area. Chrisholm passed away in his home on Sunday.
This article states how Chrisholm was very active in his community as he worked for his family's hardware store and then was hired as the President of Monogram World Fastners, was a member of his Catholic church, a golfer and so on. This article also shows his family side as he had three daughters and a son, plus many grandchildren.
The person whom I will be writing my obituary article on will be my father Lee Thomas.
Answers to the questions for the the reading:
1) The first thing a reporter should do after being assigned a story to cover is to research alittle bit about the person/s being interviewed to be able to help them better understand things better.
2) Some of the potential problems of using information from news articles that are found in commerical databases are that there are definately biases, whether they are evident or not. Some of the information may and can often be obscured to the reader. Also some of the information could be inaccurate and hard to be able to determine what parts are valid.
