JuiceBoxxx

The enthusiastic and emotional Juiceboxxx jumped on and off the stage, threw himself on the floor, climbed onto the speakers, screamed obscenities and went crowd surfing during his first show in Oshkosh outside of Reeve Memorial Union.
Unlike rap superstars Ja Rule, Snoop Dogg and the late Old Dirty Bastard, Juiceboxxx doesn’t fit any rap stereotypes and presented his own unique style on stage.
Juiceboxxx wore thick-framed glasses and a t-shirt with a unicorn, roses and lightning on it, which he removed during his third song to reveal his tiny frame.
Juiceboxxx, the 18-year-old rapper from Mequon, said that this was the first time he has ever played outside and he thought it sounded great.
The rapper said his energy and enthusiasm come from “caffeine and positivity.”
He was interactive with the audience, getting them to participate in the show and dedicating his second song to his friends who have helped him out.
“This track goes out to anyone who has ever given me a ride to a show,” he said. “I don’t have a driv (sic) license.”
During his second song, Juiceboxxx’s CD kept skipping, which he took audience harassment for. However, as quickly as the audience could dish it out, Juiceboxxx threw it back at them.
The rapper performed one encore song after the audience chanted his name when he left stage.
After his set, he sat in the shade to sell CDs and speaked with people who saw the show.
The general reaction to the show was favorable.
“He’s phat as hell,” WRST Music Director Jodi Root said. “I’ve seen a lot of white boys rap and he can really bust a move.”
Reeve Union Board was hesitant at first about getting the Mequon rapper to come to the show. They didn’t know how the audience would respond to a skinny white rapper.
However, at least one member of RUB said he was happy about the reaction to his performance.
“People were stunned by it,” RUB member Nick Gumm said. “I don’t think people respect him for what he does. He can rap and rhyme like anyone, but people find his aura strange.”
